About
Graduated from Cotton College and completed my M.Sc. in Zoology from Gauhati University in the year 1997 with Fish Biology and Fishery Science as specialization. I was awarded Ph.D. by Gauhati University under the guidance of Late Prof. U.Ch. Goswami, G.U. and Prof. Satya Sarma of College of Veterinary Sciences, Khanapara. Before joined as Asstt. Prof. in Cotton College in 2010, I have served as a faculty at Pragjyotish College from 1997-2009. Research area of interest: fish biology, fish biochemistry, fish nutrition and post-harvest technology. Presently my work focused on fish biology and biochemistry of some indigenous fishes of North-East India.
