Vidwan Profile

About

I joined Department of Zoology, Cotton University as an assistant professor of ecology. My resaerch focuses on landscape patterns of plant and animal distribution and how they respond to land use change in the anthropocene. In my research, I employ majority of the adavanced tool and methodologies available for ecological research and ecological modelling including GIS/'Remote Sensing and advanced data science tools. Prior to joining Cotton University, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Gauhati University, where I was awarded the D.S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship by the University Grants Commission of India.
