About
Graduated from Cotton College and completed M.Sc. in Zoology from Gauhati University in the year 1996 with Fish Biology and Fishery Science as specialization.
Awarded Ph.D. in the year 2008 by Gauhati University under the guidance of Late Prof. U.Ch. Goswami, G.U. and Prof. Satya Sarma of College of Veterinary Sciences, Khanapara.
Before joining as an Assistant. Professor at Cotton College (now Cotton University) in 2010; served at Pragjyotish College from 1997-2009.

1. Worked as a Co-PI of a DBT sponsored Project entitled FOLSCOPE for a period of 1yr under a sanctioned amount of Rs 8,00,000.
2. Received a UGC Minor Project in the year 2011 under a sanctioned amount of Rs. 8,00,000, completed in the year 2013
3. Presently working as PI of an In-house project sponsored by Cotton University on Fish Nutrition under a sanctioned amount of Rs 1, 50,000.
