Prof. Arup Kumar Hazarika

Professor

Ph.D. : Gauhati University

Research Interests:

My research interests lie at the intersection of Insect Ecology, River & Fresh Water Ecology, and Wildlife Biology & Conservation Science. In Insect Ecology, I am fascinated by the roles insects play in ecosystem functions such as pollination, decomposition, and their responses to environmental changes. In River & Fresh Water Ecology, my focus is on understanding the interactions between aquatic organisms and their habitats, exploring how water quality and ecological dynamics influence biodiversity. In the realm of Wildlife Biology & Conservation Science, I am dedicated to studying animal populations, their behavior, and the development of conservation strategies to address issues like habitat loss and climate change. Integrating insights from these fields allows me to contribute to holistic approaches in managing and preserving biodiversity.
